The Red Konak

You can feel the spirit of this old house right in the historical heart of Bulgaria, the old capital Veliko Tarnovo. Situated in the old town, there are many tourist sights around. The Tsarevets Fortress, with its famous Sound & Light show, is only 600 m away. Enjoy the food in the local restaurants or cook for yourself in the kitchen.

You’ll love the place because of its quiet location, the inner courtyard and the comfy beds. The house is good for couples, families, kids and friends.

The space
The whole house is yours! You won't share the place with others.

It is a double-floor house, 160 square meters.
On the 1st floor, a big kitchen, a dining table for 12 people, a living room with a sofa and a place for children. You can have a great time in our small inner courtyard too. All 3 bedrooms and the bathroom are situated on the second floor.

The normal capacity of the house is 7 people as follows:

• Bedroom #1: 1 double bed 160 cm.
• Bedroom #2: 1 pull-out bed (160 cm in the extended position, 80 cm in the normal position) and an additional sofa bed for 1 person, almost on the floor.
• Bedroom #3: 2 single beds. 90 cm each when separated or 180 cm if joined together.
• On the first floor, in the living room, there is a foldable sofa, where 2 more people can sleep comfortably. You need to let us know if you intend to book for additional people.

Please note that there is a small toilet on the first floor too, which could eventually be used as a bathroom.

Please consider these amenities as available for you: cutlery, dishes, cups, freezer and refrigerator, cooker, toaster, frying pan, some cooking pots, dishwasher, espresso coffee machine, bath towels, and shampoos.

Guest access
You'll have access to the entire house and the inner courtyard. You'll receive your PIN code for the electronic door lock before arrival. If anything wrong with the door lock there is a secondary entrance with a spare key available on request.

Other things to note
The house's heating, cooling and domestic hot water are assured by a modern heat pump system. Please read the house manual carefully to get clarity on how to adjust the temperature if needed.
